Note: All the following questions and answers are based on the actual product specifications and no parameters not provided have been fabricated. The specific figures (voltage, power, protection level, beam angle, point spacing, brightness, weight, size, lifespan, etc.) cited in each answer are all derived from the specification table.
01.What pixel pitches are available for the mesh screen? How is pixel density calculated?
The XH Series mesh screen has pixel pitches from 50×50mm to 50×100mm, corresponding to pixel densities of 20×20 to 20×10. The smaller the pixel pitch, the finer the image. For example, the XH-Chuxing G20 (50×50mm) has denser pixels than 50×100mm models, making it suitable for building curtain walls viewed at medium-to-close distances.
02.Is the mesh screen suitable for building facade video? Is it transparent?
Yes. The mesh screen is characterized by transparency, modularity, and light weight. When installed on building curtain walls and landmarks, it can play video while basically not affecting the building's daylighting or appearance. The full series includes 8 models (XH-Chuxing G20/G30, XH-Star H30/H2501/H2502/H2503, XH-Stellar K30, XH-Starry L20006, etc.). The light source is RGB, enabling full-color media facades.
03.What is the waterproof rating of the mesh screen? Can it be used on outdoor bridges?
The mesh screen has an IP67 protection rating and can be used for outdoor building curtain walls, bridges, and landmark lighting. It uses DC12V voltage, RGB light source, DMX512 control system, operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C, and a lifespan of >30,000 hours. It works stably in long-term outdoor rain-exposed environments.
04.Is the mesh screen heavy? Is high-altitude hoisting safe?
It is very light. A single screen weighs only 1.8–3.0kg. With a modular, self-cooling structure, hanging and hoisting are very easy, with low load-bearing requirements for curtain walls. It also has a flame-retardant V-0 rating and Class III safety rating, making high-altitude installation safer.
05.How much power does a single pixel of the mesh screen consume? Is the whole-screen electricity cost high?
A single pixel of the mesh screen consumes only 0.3W, making it a typical low-power product. With DC12V power supply and a self-cooling design, the electricity cost for long-time media facade content playback is very low. It is suitable for lighting projects that need to stay on for long periods, such as city landmarks and commercial complexes.
06.Will the mesh screen overheat under summer sun exposure? Does it need extra heat dissipation?
No extra heat dissipation is needed. The mesh screen uses a self-cooling design, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. In addition, the transparent mesh structure itself provides good ventilation, so it can operate normally under summer outdoor sun exposure. Its flame-retardant V-0 rating also ensures safety in high-temperature environments.
01.How is the mesh screen controlled? Can it be linked with other lighting fixtures?
The mesh screen uses a DMX512 control system with RGB light source. It can be uniformly addressed and linked with point lights and pixel lights in the same system to achieve coordinated lighting for an entire building or city landmark. It uses DC12V voltage and is easy to integrate with the control end.
02.How many models are in the XH Series? How do I choose a model?
The XH Series has 8 models: XH-Chuxing G20/G30, XH-Star H30/H2501/H2502/H2503, XH-Stellar K30, and XH-Starry L20006. Model selection mainly depends on pixel pitch (50×50mm to 50×100mm, i.e., pixel density 20×20 to 20×10) and installation scenario — choose a denser model (G20) for close-up curtain wall viewing, and a sparser model for long-distance landmarks to save cost.
03.What is the flame-retardant rating of the mesh screen? Is it easy to pass fire safety acceptance?
The mesh screen achieves a flame-retardant V-0 rating (one of the highest flame-retardant levels), along with Class III safety rating and DC12V low-voltage power supply. It is relatively friendly for fire safety and safety regulation acceptance for buildings, bridges, and landmark projects.
04.What is the lifespan of the mesh screen? Does it need frequent replacement?
The mesh screen has a lifespan of >30,000 hours, operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C, and IP67 protection. It can be used for many years in normal lighting projects. With its modular structure, a single module can be independently removed and replaced. If one module is damaged, it does not affect the whole system, resulting in low later maintenance costs.
05.What is the difference between a mesh screen and a transparent film screen? Which one should I choose for a curtain wall?
The mesh screen is a transparent mesh structure with an RGB dot matrix, pixel pitch of 50×50–50×100mm, single screen weight of 1.8–3.0kg, and IP67 rating. It is suitable for large-scale media facades on building curtain walls, bridges, and landmarks. The transparent film screen is more glass-adhesive and has finer pixels, but its positioning for lighting and protection is different. If you need outdoor landmark-level video lighting with lightweight hoisting, the mesh screen is more suitable.
06.Can the mesh screen be spliced into large sizes? What is the maximum size?
Yes. The mesh screen has a modular design, with a single screen weighing 1.8–3.0kg. It can be freely spliced horizontally and vertically according to curtain wall dimensions to create a full-building media curtain wall. Pixel pitch options include 50×50mm and 50×100mm, with pixel densities from 20×20 to 20×10. The density can be determined according to the viewing distance.
