Note: All the following questions and answers are based on the actual product specifications and no parameters not provided have been fabricated. The specific figures (voltage, power, protection level, beam angle, point spacing, brightness, weight, size, lifespan, etc.) cited in each answer are all derived from the specification table.

01.What indoor and outdoor models are available for rental screens? How do I choose the pixel pitch?

The rental series includes indoor models P2.604/P2.976/P3.91 and outdoor models P2.604/P2.976/P3.91/P4.81. The smaller the pixel pitch, the clearer the image, with pixel density up to 147,456 dots/m² (P2.6). For indoor close-distance events, choose P2.6/P2.97; for outdoor long-distance viewing, P3.91/P4.81 balances clarity and budget.

02.What IP rating is required for outdoor rental screens? Can they be used in the rain?

Outdoor rental screens have an IP65 protection rating and can be used directly in outdoor rainy performances, exhibitions, and events. Indoor rental screens are IP43 and are only suitable for indoor venues without rain exposure. For outdoor projects, be sure to choose IP65 models (P2.604/P2.976/P3.91/P4.81).

03.Is the brightness of rental screens sufficient for outdoor daytime use?

Yes. Outdoor rental screens have white balance brightness ≥4000 cd/m², so content remains clearly visible outdoors in daylight. Indoor models have white balance brightness ≥600 cd/m², suitable for dark-stage and exhibition halls without being glaring.

04.What are the refresh rate and grayscale of rental screens? Will there be scan lines when filming?

Rental screens have refresh rates ≥1920/3840Hz and grayscale of 256–65,536 levels. High refresh rate combined with high grayscale means no scan lines or flicker when photographed by cameras or phones, making them suitable for performance live streaming, exhibition recording, and other high-demand shooting scenarios.

05.How heavy is the rental screen cabinet? Is shipping expensive?

Rental screens use 500×500 / 500×1000mm die-cast aluminum cabinets, which are high-strength, high-precision, and non-deforming. The lightweight design reduces shipping costs. Modules are 250×250mm, and cabinets can be independently disassembled and maintained, keeping frequent relocation and transportation costs low.

06. Is it fast to set up rental screens for events? How many people are needed?

Fast. The rental series focuses on rapid setup. Die-cast aluminum cabinets are high-precision with independent disassembly and maintenance. Modules are 250×250mm and cabinets are 500×500/500×1000mm for standardized splicing. A few people on site can quickly complete the setup and dismantling of large-area screens, suitable for touring, exhibitions, and other short-cycle projects.

07.What is the lifespan of rental screens? Will repeated disassembly and assembly damage them?

Rental screens have a lifespan ≥100,000h. The cabinet is a high-strength, high-precision die-cast aluminum structure that does not deform and can withstand repeated disassembly, assembly, and transportation. The independent disassembly and maintenance design allows individual modules and power supplies to be replaced separately, extending the overall service life.

08.How do I choose between outdoor rental screen P2.6 and P4.81?

It depends on viewing distance and budget. P2.6 (highest pixel density 147,456 dots/m²) is suitable for medium-to-close-distance outdoor stages and brand events pursuing high definition. P4.81 has a larger pixel pitch and lower cost, suitable for large open-air performances viewed from a distance. Both are outdoor IP65 with brightness ≥4000 cd/m².

09.What are the module and cabinet sizes of rental screens? Is it easy to stock them?

The module standard is 250×250mm, and cabinets come in 500×500mm and 500×1000mm. Standard sizes facilitate inventory stocking and mixed splicing. If one piece is damaged, simply replace it with a same-size module or cabinet without affecting the whole screen.

10.Can rental screens be maintained independently? How do I repair them if they break on site?

Yes. The rental series supports independent disassembly and maintenance. A single module (250×250mm) or cabinet (500×500/1000mm) can be removed and replaced separately without dismantling the entire screen. The die-cast aluminum cabinet structure is stable, and on-site quick replacement restores operation without delaying the event.

11.Can indoor rental screens with IP43 be used outdoors?

No. Indoor rental screens only have IP43 protection and are not rainproof. They can only be used in indoor venues and environments without water spray. Outdoor rainy or humid sites must use outdoor IP65 models (P2.604/P2.976/P3.91/P4.81), otherwise water will enter and cause damage.

12.For stage backdrops, how are the clarity and color of rental screens?

Stage backdrops commonly use indoor P2.6/P2.97/P3.91, with pixel density up to 147,456 dots/m² (P2.6) and grayscale of 256–65,536 levels, providing rich color gradation. With refresh rates ≥1920/3840Hz, there are no stripes when filmed by cameras. Indoor brightness is ≥600 cd/m², giving a soft and clear look for dark-stage performances.
